Billion Dollar Loser: The Epic Rise and Spectacular Fall of Adam Neumann and WeWork
The best business failure book since The Bad Blood.
I love books about business failures – I think we can learn more from them than from books about success.
I reviewed earlier “The Bad Blood” (the failure of Theranos and Elizabeth Holmes), “Losing the Signal” (the failure of BlackBerry/Research In Motion”), “Faster, Higher, Farther” (the Volkswagen “clean diesel” scandal), “Exposure” (the Teflon scandal), and the like (links below).
Just finished the latest, and possibly the best book on business failures,
“Billion Dollar Loser: The Epic Rise and Spectacular Fall of Adam Neumann and WeWork”
I thought I knew a lot about WeWork and its messiah-like founder and the cult culture he created. I was wondering the other day what happened to him and the company lately — well, this new book tells all.
Highly recommend.
